Welcome to Artist Dione

Hello and welcome! I’m so excited to share with you the culmination of years of passion, perseverance, and creativity. My name is Dione, and I've spent my entire life dedicated to studying art—specifically color, texture, and the endless possibilities they offer. The journey to where I am today, designing clothing, has been long, challenging, and full of unexpected twists. But here I am, finally turning my dreams into reality, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share it with you.

When I was in high school, I remember the moment I looked at a spreadsheet of available artist careers. As a young person with a deep love for art, I knew that choosing a path in the creative world was not going to be easy. Art is often seen as a luxury or an afterthought—something that comes after more practical careers like doctors, lawyers, and tradespeople. We’ve all heard the saying that "art comes last," and it certainly felt true in my small town.

But I didn’t let that discourage me. In high school, I knew I was talented. I took my art very seriously, believing in the value of creativity even when others may not have fully understood it. While looking at that list of career options, one job caught my eye: *Clothing Designer*. The idea of becoming a clothing designer seemed so far-fetched, especially growing up in a tiny town where I couldn't even imagine the possibilities. But deep down, something told me that it was possible.

Fast forward to today. After years of dedication to my craft, I now have an 8-year degree under my belt, and I’ve helped build several homes with my own hands as part of a team. My life has been a whirlwind of balancing art shows, football practices, and construction sites—but I never gave up on my dream. And though I never could have imagined it at the time, I can now say with pride that I am designing clothing!

It’s not just about creating beautiful garments—it’s about the desire to fill the gap I found in the clothing industry. I was frustrated with the options available to me when I shopped. There was always something missing—whether it was the design, the quality, or simply the feeling that the clothes didn’t speak to who I truly was. This frustration drove me to take the leap and start designing clothing that felt right to m
After a four-year hiatus to learn new programs and research the best sustainable, ethical manufacturers to work with, I’m thrilled to announce that I have finally made it happen! The journey has been a long one, but every step was worth it. I’m proud to say that each piece I create is designed with intention, care, and a deep respect for the environment.
