Welcome to ArtistDione, where craftsmanship, passion, and design come together to create truly unique pieces. I’m Dione, the founder and designer behind this Clothingline. My story is one of hard work, creativity, and dedication to making something beautiful that reflects both my journey and my love for art and craftsmanship.
For 25 years, I worked as a carpenter, building homes and structures with my own hands. In the midst of this, I was also raising my son as a single mother and pursuing my degree in art. Those years were challenging, but they taught me the value of resilience, attention to detail, and the joy of creating something with purpose.
As a child, I was always fascinated by patterns and fabrics. I remember one particular moment that left a lasting impression on me. At a garage sale, I found a denim skirt adorned with intricate rose patterns. The design was so beautiful and unique, I was so excited to own and would wear as frequently as possible. But as I grew, I realized I would eventually outgrow it, and I wondered if I would ever find something like it again. That skirt left a lasting impression on me, not just because of its design, but because of the memories and emotions it evoked.
As an adult, I found myself browsing through clothing stores, disappointed by the lack of quality, originality, and beauty in the designs I saw. I longed for the same craftsmanship and artistry I admired as a child. This frustration led me to start designing my own pieces—clothing that wasn’t just something to wear, but art to experience. And in doing so, I found the perfect way to blend my love for artistry with the skills I developed over the years as a carpenter.
I never imagined, when I was earning my bachelor’s degree in art, that I would be able to design and create the kinds of pieces that now define ArtistDione. Each item I design is a labor of love, a reflection of my past, and a tribute to the beauty of craftsmanship. Just as a house is built with care, so too is each piece of clothing—crafted with intention, passion, and an eye for timeless design.
